Small Update on Pierce

*He had an evaulation today for First Steps (a state program). He qualifies for in home physical therapy for his neck. The reason he qualified is that he can't look to the right while on his tummy. We finally got him to do it when he was propped up on a boppy pillow, but he was not happy about it. His torticollis isn't that bad though, so it shouldn't take too much to fix it.

*I stopped giving him the Zantac. It tasted bad, and it didn't seem to be helping much. Instead, I've decided to just be really careful about what I eat. I pretty much can't eat anything good. So far it seems to be helping a little, although he still spits up a lot in the mornings, but that's probably from overeating after sleeping through the night since there's a lot of milk available to him at that time.

*His thrush is no longer visible, but I'm giving him the medicine for at least another week. If it comes back, I've been given a referral to a pediatrician who is also a lactation consultant and will treat both of us together.

These little updates are mostly for my record-keeping since this is pretty much my only journal. It's also for other moms who might be curious in case they're having the same problems or who can offer advice if they've had the same problems. It's for grandparents too.

I love your updates. They're interesting and it's nice to know, since we don't get to talk much on Sunday!

Oh, so I was gonna tell you...when Marshae had reflux they gave me prevacid. I would break the pill in half and dissolve it in water to give to her...she didn't seem to mind it. It was kinda a pain in the butt, but I think it helped a little.
