How Could I Forget?
I forgot to include an important chapter in the history of Blue (my car). In February 2004, a few weeks after I had moved to Utah, Brock and I drove with Alex Lynch down to Phoenix Arizona. Her dad is a gemologist, and he was going to help us find an engagement/wedding ring. It was my first time to Las Vegas. We drove over the Hoover Dam (I don't think you can do that anymore). We stayed the night at Alex's parents' house. They had a cat, and Brock had a rough night because of it. The next day we got up, ate breakfast at Einstein Bagels, and drove down to Tucson. When we left Provo, it was snowing, and it was hot in Tucson. We spent all day at a gem show. We found our ring. Brock bought a tiki man and another wooden statue from the gem show. He packed them carefully in my car. We had them in our living room as decorations until we moved to our current house. They're now in our basement. On the way home, we stopped in Flagstaff to get gas. I locked my keys in the car. Brock was annoyed. I felt like an idiot. We had to call a locksmith and pay $50 to get into the car. We decided to bypass Las Vegas and take a different route home. We were on some scary back roads. Brock and Alex wanted to tell ghost stories. I was scared. We made it home, and Brock got the ring and proposed to me about 2 weeks later.

Hey I remember that proposal! LOL...Brock had me go wake you up to tell you that there was a package for you in the living room and you were like..."k, I'll get it when I get up" (cause it was like really early in the morning). I was totally freaking out because I didn't know how to get you to go in there and poor Brock was scrunched in that box in the living room, haha! I guess we bugged you enough times that you finally got up and TA-DA...now look at you two little love birds :)
