Sneak Peek
I've been having pain in my leg this week. I wasn't worried about it, but then I told my mom, and she said that it could be a symptom of a blood clot. So I called the doctor yesterday to ask about it, and they set me up with an appointment today at the hospital to get it checked out. They did a "doppler study" on my leg and didn't find anything. She said the blood is a little sluggish at the top of my leg, so the baby is probably sitting on a vein which is probably what's causing the pain in my leg. Anyway, I'm glad to know that I'm not going to die of a pulmonary embolism! I thought about cancelling the appointment earlier because I didn't think it was a clot, but I'm SO GLAD I didn't! After she was done pushing around on my leg (which was pretty relaxing I might add), she showed us the baby! It wasn't part of her job at all. In fact, I'm sure she isn't supposed to do that, but she just did it to be nice! I know some of you people get ultrasounds left and right when you're pregnant, but I've only had one, and it was 4 months ago! We got to see his little sleeping face. He has pouty little lips (he's already grumpy like his dad)! He looked so cute squished up in there. His legs were spread out like little frog legs showing his little boy parts (immodest like his dad too). I'm so glad I didn't cancel that appointment! And I'm so glad Brock decided to come with me so he could see too!

congrats!! I'm happy you aren't going to have a pulmonary embolism too... and I'm SO happy you got to see the baby! YAY! Holy crap, I'm so excited for you!!
That's fun! I'm glad you got another ultrasound...I've felt sorry for you. It's nice to be able to see them inside of you. My last one I couldn't tell a thing. The dr said it was her face, but it just looked like a big blob.
Have you been having any contractions or anything? I haven't and I'm not progressing much. Hopefully soon!
Oh, how fun for you to be able to see him. At this age he can be immodest, but now at Brock's age- lol.
That is so fun! I wanted to see Sam so badly towards the end, but had already had my two. Lol on the daddy comments.
First of all, please quit making my heart stop with your titles!!! "I didn't make it" or "sneak peak"!!! Do you see how I can get a little confused and think that you had little baby Pierce. I am already on pins and needles over here for you, counting down your days! Hello! This is some VERY EXCITING stuff! Also, I have to admit it's been nice seeing my baby every two weeks, but for a very scary reason. So kinda not so nice. But today was the last time I'll be seeing her. The doctor said I am doing great and she isn't worried anymore therefore, I will not be needing anymore ultrasounds. Sad news but at the same time good news. But I am happy for you that you got to see your little one today! So sweet! Just think, this time next week, you could be holding him!!! Crazy!
I'm so excited to see him and I can't wait for you to come to Arkansas so I can hold him too! Megan is due on September 11 and we all think she should go in for the c-section on 9-9-09. That would be cool huh?!
I agree about the title thing. It sounds like you've had the baby!!! LOL!
I am so glad you got to have an ultrasound! They are so fun. Now I'm sure you are ready to meet little Pierce in person....hang in there!
