Brock started "nesting" last week. He's been on a cleaning rampage. In addition to cleaning, he spent most evenings this week working on a landscaping project which he finished Saturday. I kept him company and swept things, but I wasn't much help. He cleaned the old mulch out of all our plant beds (what was left of it anyway since the wind and water like to take it away). He trimmed down all the plants for spring. He put down stuff to prevent weeds. He lined our plant beds very nicely with two layers of rocks. He also made a new spot around our mailbox for flowers or plants. Finally, he filled all the beds with rubber mulch (we're anxious to see how well this rubber mulch holds up). The whole thing looks really nice. Brock is so good with details. Thanks Brock for making our yard look pretty! Now we'll see if we can't get that grass to grow a little better this year.
BEFORE

We're going to mulch around the mailbox later since we haven't planted anything yet.

The new landscape looks great! Long live the conway landscaping team.
It looks GREAT! You should see Northwest AR. after the ice storm. It is looking better, but I wonder if the trees will be pretty this spring and if it will ever look the same.
good to know you can landscape as a back up job....are you available to landscape in Montana??
