33 weeks.

We celebrated Valentine's Day on Friday night instead of Saturday. I think the idea was that restaurants would be less busy, but I don't think it made much of a difference. I wanted Brock to choose a restaurant, and he decided on Olive Garden. That was a ridiculous choice because he doesn't like Olive Garden. He called them and they had an hour wait, so we didn't end up going. We wouldn't have gone there anyway because I wanted HIM to choose. He said Texas Roadhouse sounded good, so we went there. It was insanely busy, and we waited over an hour for a table, but I'm glad he got what he wanted. He thinks Valentine's Day is for me, and I guess it usually is more for the girl than the guy, but my birthday is always 6 days after, so it doesn't seem fair to him to make Valentine's Day about me. I think it should be Brock's day every year.
Now for the pregnancy update... I had my first experience last week of Pierce keeping me up at night. It was actually about 6:30 in the morning, but I usually sleep until 9. I couldn't sleep at all. He was going crazy and kicking hard no matter how I was positioned (usually he kicks more when I am on my right side because that's where his legs are). Even though it was annoying, it was cute! That was the only time he's ever done that.
We took a tour of the hospital yesterday. I don't think there was anything too surprising about it, but it made me feel a little less nervous about what's coming up. They answered questions, showed us rooms, told us where to go when we're in labor, and all that fun stuff. Very informative. Brock seemed unimpressed. He thinks he's an expert at hospital stuff. Someone had lasagna in their room, and Brock thought the smell was so nasty. It was hilarious. He said they better not bring me lasagna after I have my baby. I promised him I wouldn't ask for any. haha... He had a bad lasagna experience on his mission.
I can't believe how close we're getting! Neither one of us can wait to see our baby boy. At the same time, I realize that my life will never be the same, so I'm trying to enjoy these last few weeks of not having to take care of anyone but myself. It'll be a crazy adventure!

Yea, I bet you are so excited!! You have the right idea, take care of yourself now, cause it is a lot harder when you have a little one to look after. Get plenty of sleep, now before it is too late :)!
