It snowed the WHOLE time we were in Utah. It was crazy. Most of you already know that it snowed a lot because most people that read my blog live in the west, but I want to write about it for my own journaling purposes. When we moved here, I kind of thought we had as much snow as Utah, but no, my memory was erased during the 18 months we lived in Texas. It snows way more in Utah, and life goes on when it snows there. Even though Cincinnati gets a good amount of snow each year, it's still a big deal. Schools will close if it gets too bad and people will abandon their cars on the side of the street even if it's not that bad. To be fair though, there is more ice involved when it snows here, so I think it is a little more dangerous to drive around in. The day after we got back home, it was 70 degrees here in Cincinnati...perfect for taking down our Christmas decorations in shorts and tshirts.
I also wanted to share the good deal I found today. We've been wanting to buy an elliptical machine, but not a very expensive one (we need to see how much we'll use it before we make too much of an investment). I found one today on sears.com, and I got really excited about it. It had amazing reviews and it was on sale for an extremely good price. Well, I told Brock about it and got him excited too, but when I tried to order one, it said they were out of stock at all the stores around us. I tried different cities near us thinking we could maybe drive a little distance for a good price, but they were out of stock everywhere. We were so sad. I decided to just check with the store before I gave up on it. The first guy I talked to said that it was a closeout of last year's model so they didn't have any, but he transferred me to someone else so I could find out about the new model (which I knew was going to be way too expensive). The second guy I talked to said that they had one more of the old model! I was so excited. I went to the store to buy it before anyone else could. Now we have to figure out how we're going to get it home. That's always a dilemma with our little cars. One of these days we'll get a bigger vehicle. Anyway, just thought I'd share what made me happy today.

I love finding deal. Even more, I love it when I find a deal and have a reason and money to purchase whatever it is. Then, I love to tell people about my little treasure. I don't know if that annoys other people, but it is part of the fun. Even if I was a Trump, I'd look for the good deals.
we love our elliptical machine so much. shelby is really entertained by it actually, so that's a bonus. good luck getting it home, ours is HEAVY! (which reminds me of the boys trying to move that motorcycle, good times) looks like you had a great holiday! planning any other trips? out west maybe? :)
