Today we heard the heartbeat. I'll have my first ultrasound in November when we'll find out what we're having, so no ultrasound pictures yet...sorry.

I've been growing something.
This morning we confirmed that I have a live human being growing inside of my body. Yeah, you guessed it, a baby! It's almost 12 weeks old. It has a healthy heartbeat, and it must love me a lot because I haven't been that sick. Sick, yes, but all food has stayed in me the way it should for which I am very grateful. This little thing should enter the world sometime around the first of April. We're very happy, and we're really anxious to know what it'll be. Brock said he hopes it's a boy but he thinks it'll probably be a girl. Poor guy, he's so used to nothing going his way. I want it to be a girl though, so either way, someone will love it. :) The due date that the doctor gave me is April 2nd, but I'm thinking March 31st or sooner. Here's a reminder of what our kids are going to look like....

your child is scaring me. It looks like you with a wedding veil on, not that that scares me but when it's supposed to be a baby that definitely scares me! Congrats to you guys again. This is still all so weird to me.
