This is my cat Simba. We got her in 1994 when I was 9 years old. My dad is cool.
She didn't know I was taking this.
This is my friend Amy's baby Sam. He's so cute. We tried to get him to smile for the camera, but he didn't want to. I should have gotten Amy in the picture too. Sorry Amy.

Now that I've educated all of you in the last post about Conway, I'll post some pictures from my most recent trip to visit my family. As soon as I dropped Carmen and Brooke off at the airport last week, I drove myself to the Louisville airport to fly to Arkansas. (Southwest flies out of Louisville and not Cincinnati, so I drove an hour and a half for a better price.) I just got home last night, so I was there for a week. It was a nice relaxing visit. My mom made a ton of good food for us. My dad took Adam and me to see Get Smart (funny movie). Adam jumped off the roof of the house into the swimming pool and scared everyone. Brock stayed at home and missed me. And I did some crossword puzzles, played Scrabble with my mom, laid out in the pool, visited with some of my friends, got some new shoes and a new swimsuit (thanks mom), spent a lot of time on facebook, and tried so hard to beat my top scores on Mahjongg on my parents computer (all my top scores are from 2003, and I haven't been able to beat them since then). As always, I enjoyed my trip. I'm glad to be reunited with Brock, but I'm not excited about the big project we have going on right now. I can feel my lungs filling with sawdust. More to come on that subject.

I went to college in Conway four years and never knew what a Wampus Cat was! I guess I had more important things to think about. Thanks for the education. I love the beautiful picture of you in the plant room! Glad you could spend some time at home in Arkansas. Jeannie
The blog feed is really cool - how did you do it?
Nice to go home sometimes. You've spent a lot of time with family. That is really great.
