*I went ahead and had my root canal done on Monday. It went well. It only hurt for a second. I'm not sure what the dentist was doing at that second, but it stopped hurting right away. My mouth was a little bruised from the shot, but I'm fine and now it's over.
*We had a "snow storm" Monday night and Tuesday morning. I guess they got more snow north of Cincinnati than we did, but I don't think it was that much more, maybe 4 inches. I kind of thought that it would be like Utah here where it snows enough that they are used to it and it's not such a big deal, but it kind of was a big deal. At least from watching the news it seemed like it doesn't happen very often. Brock said that they were even doing "scientific experiments" on the snow and ice.
*The biggest project in our house that we've been waiting for happened yesterday. They ripped out the vinyl floor in our kitchen and knocked out the floor. There was a warped joist under it which was making a big bump right under our kitchen table. Our inspector found it before we moved in, but for some reason they didn't fix it until after we moved in. First they tried sanding it down which put a layer of sawdust on everything in our house. When that didn't work, they knocked out the floor and sanded the top of the joist. I don't think the floor is perfect now, but it's a lot better. The project isn't quite finished because there are guys over here right now putting baseboards back up. Oh, and we still have a toilet in our garage which I thought looked pretty funny parked between our cars.
*While our house was being ripped apart yesterday, we managed to sell a tv and a computer on craig's list. We posted the ads yesterday and they were both gone by the end of the day. Now Brock wants to find some more stuff to sell, and I'm afraid we might not have anything left when he's done.
*My favorite show American Idol has begun. It actually began about a month ago, but I haven't blogged about it yet. It's nice to have something to look forward to when the holidays are all over. Every single middle of January it starts, and Tuesday and Wednesday become my favorite days of the week. I like any show that has to do with singing or dancing, even the cheesy ones like Dance War, but American Idol is the best ever.

LOVE American Idol!! You should watch the new dance show on MTV called America's Best Dance crew or something like that - I even have Jared hooked!
It sounds like you two are doing great. I love you new house! How is Brock liking is job so far?
