Grill

When we moved from Provo to College Station, we had to get rid of our barbeque grill because there was just nowhere to put it at our new apartment. So ever since then, Brock has been anxious for the day to be able to buy a new one. When we moved here, he immediately started checking them out at all the stores. This is a good time of year to buy them too, but there was just one problem, we don't have a truck, we just have 2 Honda Civics. Finally, this weekend, Brock decided he could not wait another day to buy a grill, so he threw some bungee cords in the trunk and we were off to Home Depot. We figured the big box would be filled with little boxes and we asked the assembly man at the store if there were. He confirmed it so we bought it. When we got to the car, we opened the box, and started taking out all the little boxes. The hood of the grill was the biggest piece and it wasn't in a box. We started lifting it and it was so heavy. A guy was getting into his car, and offered to help us. After 3 tries, they finally managed to squeeze it into the back seat. No bungee cords required, thank goodness. Fortunately Brock didn't make me help him put it together that night which I thought he would, so we waited until the next day. It took us about 3 and a half hours to put that thing together. All of the holes were drilled poorly, so none of the screws wanted to go in. It was such a pain! There are still 2 screws missing because we just couldn't get it in there. After much toil, our grill is functioning. I used to to grill chicken yesterday for dinner and it did it's job.

Yay for a new grill! The movers wouldn't take our grill when we moved to Michigan, so I am in the same predicament (actually, they would allow the grill, just not the gas tank, but we found someone to buy it all from us for about what we paid for it, so it works)
