Angel House

Brock has this obsession with energy saving light bulbs, and he likes the SUPER bright white ones because he says he needs more light to be in a better mood (or something strange like that). He changed every single light bulb in our College Station apartment. Even all of our lamps had those extremely bright white lights. I don't prefer them. First of all, they're blinding. They hurt my eyes when I first wake up in the morning. Second, they lower my self esteem because when you have them in your bathroom, you can see every little imperfection in your skin. And finally, I like everything to have a yellowish tint. Yellow makes me happy. I feel that the white lights make everything have a weird unnatural color. They make me feel like I'm at a gas station or in a warehouse. Brock has already started replacing many of our normal people lights with these bright lights in our new house. He said he wouldn't change the ones in the bathrooms, so that solves one of my problems, but how are we supposed to compromise with this issue? Yellow lights make me happy and white lights make Brock happy. How can we both be happy at the same time? Saturday afternoon Brock changed the outside lights, and when we came home it was dark. We both laughed when we saw the house. Our neighbors probably think we have angels living with us. In the second picture, you can see the comparison with the normal people lights down the street. Even Brock agreed that it looked kind of funny.

I love the new site! It looks great. I laughed out loud when I saw the pictures of your house with the white lights! I love it! I like having white lights in the bathroom because it shows me just how perfect I really am! :)

That's hilarious. How about every other? And maybe this is me being selfish, but I'd say that when you're a stay at home mom I think you should have the light bulbs you want since you're the one that's going to be home all day with them! He can have is ultra bright ones in his office/garage or any other man rooms. :) (I can see James rolling his eyes right about now.) HA!
