He's Done!

Friday morning we went to Brock's graduation. I dropped him off early in the morning to get his Aggie Ring. He ordered it several weeks ago, but he wasn't allowed to get it until he had a certain amount of his degree finished. The way that his program worked out, he didn't have that percentage of his degree finished until this last semester was over, so he couldn't get it until graduation. Rings are a big deal at Texas A&M.

There's not much to say about graduation except that I'm VERY proud of Brock for not only getting a bachelor's degree, but going above and beyond and getting a master's degree! I'm very lucky to be married to such a smart, hard-working, and ambitious guy. We also really appreciate our families coming to celebrate this occasion with us. Since we're both finally done with school, I also want to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH to both sets of our parents for all of the help that they've given us through school, especially the financial help. We are really grateful.

We were all really surprised by how many people left immediately after they got their diplomas. All of those empty seats are people that left early. We thought it was a little weird and kind of disrespectful, but at least it spread out the traffic.
