Old Friends

So yesterday we went to church in Frisco. We're thinking about buying a house there if we end up moving to Dallas, so we picked a random ward to attend to see what it was like. Naturally, we picked the ward that met at the latest time posible so we could sleep in. The church building was on the other side of Frisco from where we live, so it was quite a drive, but we ended up liking it. We just went to their sacrament meeting. We happened to show up on the Sunday that their ward was being split. They announced the new boundaries and handed out maps. I was happy because I was wishing I knew what part of Frisco that ward was in, and I got to take home a map of it! Also, we were surprised to see the Stones there. They were sitting just a couple rows behind us. We thought there was a chance that we might see them because we knew they had lived in Frisco at one point, but there are several wards in that town, and we weren't even sure if they still lived there. They were in our ward in Conway (Arkansas) several years ago. She was my Young Women President when I was a Mia Maid, and he was in the Bishopric. It was so nice to see them! They invited us over for dinner with the two of them and one of their daughters Tiffany. It was fun!
Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures of our visit with the Stones, but I hate to post a blog without pictures, so here are some from my last trip to Conway. It's always fun to see my family and friends there. I'm going back again in two weeks.

Celeste and I got our makeup done at Belk. We had a male makeup artist. I was pretty disappointed with the results. My face was totally shiny as you can see from the picture. Also, the makeup he picked out for me was too dark. I hardly even wear it anymore, and it was super expensive. It kind of makes me mad to think about it.
My friend Sarah drove over from Mississippi to see me because it had been so long, and I had never even met her husband Eric. It was really fun to see them. I was kind of sad that Brock didn't get to come with me because all of my friends are married, but that's okay.
Also while I was in town, we had a Duckett family reunion. I got to see a lot of relatives that I hadn't seen for a long time. Some of my cousins
and their families came over to our house after the BBQ because my dad's sister and her family used to live in the house that my parents live in now. They wanted to see the house and my cousin's wife and kids had never been there before. Here's a picture of my dad trying to entertain my cousin's boy Brayden.
I can't wait to go back!

You're going to Arkansas again? WOW! Also, I liked your make-up. I thought your lipstick could have been brighter. When are you headed back to Utah? :)
