7 Months Old

Pierce turned 7 months on Halloween.

Here's what he's up to now..

*crawls everywhere *plays with cords, doorstops (loves the boioioing sound), dresser drawers, doors, and blinds *starting to pull himself up, mostly to kneeling position, sometimes to his feet, but he's still pretty unstable *comes to me when he wants to be held, but tries to get away when I do hold him *is very picky with food, likes most fruits and orange vegetables *takes 3 naps a day, falls asleep on his own usually...thank goodness *usually wakes up once during the night to eat *tries to escape when I change his diaper or clothes *loves to go outside *loves to play with dad *screams, squeals, squawks, squeaks and makes any other high pitched sound he possibly can *has 2 bottom teeth *wears 12 month and some 18 month clothes *still likes his Tigger doll and still sleeps with it, likes Mickey too and smiles when he sees him *loves electronics and anything that is shiny and/or lights up *likes to pull books off of shelves *still spits up but is so much better *is growing a lot of light brown hair *has greenish brownish bluish colored eyes..not sure what color they are at this point *likes baths but doesn't like getting dried off and dressed after bath (it makes me not really enjoy giving them)

I guess that's enough for now. He's a fun and cute little guy! I can't believe he's only 5 months away from being a year old! He's growing so fast. I feel like I'm used to being a parent now, but there's always something new to figure out with each stage. I feel bad that Pierce has to be our guinea pig, but both of us were the first child too...and I guess we turned out ok. He's happy most of the time, so I guess we're not doing too bad!
