The Life of a 5 and a Half Month Old Boy

He watches football. He gets grumpy when he has to fall asleep in the car instead of in his bed. He loves to watch Brock and I as we're walking around the house doing things and smiles so big when we talk to him from a distance. He pulls the bumpers down in his crib after he saw Brock do it once (not anymore because I removed them).He pushes up on his hands and knees, rocks back and forth, and sometimes lunges or scoots forward. Brock saw him crawl forward a few inches Saturday morning, but we wouldn't say he's actually crawling yet. He almost sits up on his own. I've been waiting for this for grocery shopping purposes. I sat him up in the shopping cart once so far, but it was a lot of work because he was too wobbly. Maybe next time. He reaches for everything and puts it in his mouth if he can. He's interested in anything expensive or dangerous like cell phones, remote controls, computers, baby monitors, cameras, paper shredders, chair legs, silverware, etc.
