Fun for Brock

Brock got a new calling at church...SEMINARY TEACHER! It's the last thing he ever would have wished for. He likes working with the youth and he's good at it, but he's so worried about losing sleep. The kids are so excited about it though, and so are their parents. I'm glad everyone is so excited because I think it's probably helping him accept it, even though he probably wouldn't admit that at this point. I think most of the people that read my blog know what a seminary teacher is, but for the few who may not, I should explain. The high school students in our church meet every morning before school to study the scriptures. Brock and I both did this all 4 years that we were in high school. Each year they study a different book of scripture. This year it's the Book of Mormon. They meet at 6:00 am at church on every school day, and Brock will have the pleasure of being there to teach them! This is an unpaid position (except for in Utah where seminary teachers get paid because they teach classes throughout the school day). They said they'd like him to have this job for 4 years. I'm anxious to see how this affects our lives.
