Vote for Kris
I can't believe we're in the last week of American Idol season 8, and I haven't blogged about my favorite show yet. This year is even better because Kris Allen is from my hometown, Conway Arkansas. No, I don't know him. He's my age, but apparently he moved there for college, so he didn't go to my high school. I remember seeing him audition and being excited that he was from Conway. After watching Hollywood week, I didn't think he'd make it very far because they didn't give him any attention at all. Surprisingly he was voted into the top 12! I still didn't think he'd make it far because it didn't seem like he had much personality. Yeah, I know I'm really supportive. It didn't take long to realize that he was a really good singer, and the judges actually liked his songs for the most part. I would like him even if he wasn't from Conway. Anyway, vote for Kris tonight! Yeah Adam Lambert is kind of dramatic and interesting to watch, but would you really buy a CD of his? I think Kris is much more pleasant to listen to...much less screaming. Vote for Kris.

I didn't think he would make it very far either, but since I have gotten to hear him more I think he is really good. Patrick voted for Adam!
Kris has a much sweeter personality than Adam. Dad finally got through on the phone lines last night to get a vote in for him. I wish that Gokey guy had gotten further than Adam. I really like Adam's voice when he sings slower songs, but you're right he likes those screamin' songs.
I voted the entire 4 hours last night and I'm paying for it today with a massive headache. In fact I made calls using my phone and texted using Allie's so I am a HUGE Kris fan. I think he will pull it off tonight!!!
