Brock thinks he can stay up super late Saturday nights because, if he's tired, he can just take a nap Sunday afternoon. He has meetings before church, so he gets up around 5:30 on Sunday mornings. This last Saturday night we didn't fall asleep until 1:30 or 2. Personally, I really don't like this habit of staying out late, but if I complain, I get accused of being "anti-social". We pulled the car into the garage kind of funny Saturday because we were working on a project in the driveway. Brock knew that the car was pulled in differently, and he told himself as he was backing out that he needed to be careful. Well, he was SO tired that even THINKING about it wasn't enough, and he SCRAPED the side of the car backing out.
I tried to think about how he would react in this situation if I had done it myself, and I tried really hard to be mad at him for doing it as he would have been if I did it. But I'm just a nice person, and I felt bad to see him upset about it all day. I'm annoyed that we have to spend the money to get this fixed, and I think it's going to be more than we expected. Actually I KNOW it's going to be because I've already gotten one estimate for it. Oh well.

I did had the same damage of my last car due to not seeing a low rock. I didn't fix it due to the high cost and fortunately for me, someone hit my car near the same spot and they paid for it to be fixed. Win win situation :)

oh don't worry, after having the baby you will probably do this at least once a year. i've done it several times already, just out of sheer exhaustion. my favorite was when I backed out of the garage with the garage door halfway open...
