My parents were supposed to come here for Thanksgiving this year, but my dad wasn't able to travel, so we decided to drive down to Arkansas instead. Brock had the whole week off, so we left last Sunday right after church and stayed there until Friday. It was fun to go home and visit. We had a good Thanksgiving lunch that we all helped make. I wish I had taken more pictures. My mom wanted us to take pictures of everyone cooking so she could do a scrapbook page, but we didn't really take any pictures of people looking at the camera.
Brock had fun driving Adam's motorcycle. It worried me a little since his feet barely touched the ground on it, but he survived.
I didn't see that many friends while I was there. It was a last minute trip, and I didn't really tell anyone I was going. We did know that Brock's good friend Derek (whom we hadn't seen in a long time) was going to be in town from California, so we stopped by to see him and the rest of the Martindale family that was there. They're all good friends of ours. Aubrey and Kyle had driven down from Lexington, and Celeste and Joe were there too. They're such a funny family, and I always laugh so much around them.
It was a good trip. I'm glad we drove the 9 hours there and back. My dad is doing well. He has a stent in his artery, and he has to take medicine and watch what he eats (which isn't too hard because my parents always eat healthy). He's still resting this week, but he said he's feeling a little stronger, so that's good. Thanks for all of your good wishes. I hope all of you had a good Thanksgiving too!
