brock's NYC trip
Brock spent the last couple days in New York City for work. He had never been there before. One of his classmates from Texas A&M, Billy Atar, lives there. They met up while Brock was in town, so Brock got his own personal tour guide. During his day and a half trip, he got to see the Statue of Liberty, Times Square, the Empire State Building, Chinatown, Little Italy, and Broadway. He went to the NBC Store and the Nintendo Store. He rode on the subway on his own which he said made him a little nervous. He didn't have much time, but we're going to try to go back some time so he can see more, plus it's been 10 years since I've been there. He really wanted to see someone famous because he has seen famous people on all of his work trips so far (Oprah in Chicago, Bill Gates, Lebron James, and Warren Buffet in Las Vegas), but he wasn't having much luck. He did see the Naked Cowboy on his first day there. The main reason for his trip was a gala for the Hispanic Scholarship Fund. Soledad Obrien from CNN was there, so I guess she was the famous person of his New York trip.
