The 4th

Branden came to visit us last week. He flew in Wednesday night. All day Thursday we drove around to various stores. We went to Jungle Jim's, an international grocery store. There's food imported from all kinds of countries that you don't normally see in American grocery stores. It was fun to look around. Our favorite part was the hot sauce section. We spent a good amount of time there reading the different hot sauce labels. The funniest thing was that there was this cabinet at the top of the hot sauces with tinted windows that said "adult section". It had all of the hot sauces with very inappropriate words and pictures. We just thought it was hilarious that they had an adult section for hot sauces in the middle of a grocery store.

After we drove around for hours and bought nothing, we drove to Connersville to spend the night with Brock's Grandpa Cecil. It rained all morning Friday. We went to a park for a picnic lunch with some of the Roark family (meaning Brock's dad's sisters and their families). We see new people every time we go there (people I haven't met, and people that Brock hasn't seen since he was a kid). It was fun. Neither Branden nor I wanted to be the one that asked everyone to get together for a picture. Branden was finally the brave one to do it, and now I'm using his picture. haha

We went back to Cecil's house and visited for a few more hours then we took off. On our way home, we stopped at Dustin and Meredith's house and watched fireworks on the river.

We didn't do much on Saturday and Branden left early Sunday morning. It was a fun weekend. We enjoyed having you here Branden. Come back any time you want.

I love the 4th of July! I think that it is my favorite. I was wondering why you have a long sleeve shirt. Was it chilly there in July? Also, love the wood floors. We have the same type. They are so easy to keep clean.
