When we moved to Texas, we towed one of our cars, and it got rock chips ALL over the front of it. We looked for a cheap paint job, and took it to Maaco. After several tries, they still couldn't get it right, so we accepted it as the best we could get out of them. For a year and a half, Brock spent hours examining the car, planning to one day get it painted again. Maaco did some damage to our hood and Brock spent a lot of time trying to straighten it out. When we moved here to Kentucky, we were actually happy when we got our car, and the same thing had happened to it again because this time it was moved by professionals not by us, so we weren't responsible for it. We were able to take it to a Honda dealership and get a paint job worth 5 times as much as the first one. However, it was a struggle once again to get them to do a good job. We had to take it in 3 times because it kept coming out with small problems (nothing like Maaco, but if we were going to get a paint job, we wanted it to be as good as possible). The last time I took it back, the guy in the body shop gave me a hard time about it, so we had to get the general manager of the dealership involved, and he got it done correctly for us. I'm glad it's all over and it looks a hundred times better. I hate fighting with people to get things done, but it seems like no one can do anything right. I may be able to just live with some things, but Brock needs order and perfection in his life or it'll drive him crazy, so we fight with people to keep him happy and not going crazy. He's weird I know. Here's what our car looked like when we moved here.

Weather and Our Car
The weather here is so annoying. It can't decide if it wants to be cold or warm. I keep thinking that spring is finally here, then it gets cold the next day. It rains all the time too! I hope the rain is just a spring time thing and that it doesn't rain all year here. I guess the weather is crazy everywhere you go though. In Texas, everyone thought their weather was crazy. Same in Utah and Arkansas. I think weather can be unpredictable in general and it doesn't matter where you go.
