Cinnamon Rolls
I was pretty proud of myself Sunday because I made cinnamon rolls. I had never made any kind of bread before. It took me a long time, I made a huge mess, and I barely had enough flour, but they were really good. At least, they were really good to me. Brock thought his grandma's were better. I'm making him sound really mean, but he had told me to get his grandma's recipe, and I just used a recipe out of a book I had. So he said that they weren't as good as hers. I reminded him that if I had made his grandma's recipe, they still wouldn't be as good as hers because it was my first time to try it. Plus, he would have expected them to taste a certain way, and they wouldn't have so he would have been even more disappointed. There were 16 of them and we (mostly I) had eaten all of them by Tuesday. That is why I don't learn to make desserts.

...lot's of frosting!
You've been married longer than me, but Ihave to say that your rolls will never be as good as his grandma's. It is just a think. However, I love to make breads! I think it is so fun to see the whole process. By the way, I think that your yard is fine. Are you going to try a garden? They are so easy.

I'm really impressed! Who needs grandma's recipe?! I have a quick cinnamon roll recipe.... right out of a can. I am glad you are blogging lots the last few days. I get irritated when you don't have something new! just joking... sorta. Jeannie
Those look delicious!! I'm the same way about desserts, if I make them I make them to take to Sunday family dinner so that I get baking out of my system and I don't eat them all, because I would. . .I am a sweets freak!!!
