Children of the Promise

I've been reading these books by Dean Hughes. I had listened to the first half of the first one on tape when we were moving from Utah to Texas. Then I listened to volume 1 again on CD last summer when I was driving from Dallas to Conway. I've been wanting to continue reading them, but I never got around to purchasing more. Finally, Brock got them for me for my birthday, so I've been reading them. I started halfway through volume 1 so I could remember what was going on, and now I just started volume 3. I think these books are really well-written. I'm sure a lot of you have read them, but if you haven't, you should. It's making me interested in learning more about World War II.

I love these books! They give you great insight in to WWII, and what it was like for people back then. Amazing books.

After you read those, you need to read the "Hearts of the Children" series, which is a follow up series to that one. It's about the kids and their families during Vietnam time. They are really good books.

I've never read those books. Right now in Utah, the book to read is Twilight something. It is about a vanpire love. Everyone likes it, but I hate anything that is not realistic, so I was a long read for me.
I'm just reading text books.

I love those books also. I tried to read the "Hearts of the Children" series several times, but just couldn't get into it.

I know I wanted to go shoe shopping today too but I don't know if the stores will be open. Maybe you could come over and could play and go shopping
