Blizzard
It snowed yesterday. We went out to eat with some friends, and then we went over to their house and played a game. We didn't think it was a big deal to drive in the snow. It wasn't very slippery, and there was no one else on the roads. I was a little worried about making it up hills, but we made it home safely. As soon as we turned in to our driveway, though, we were stuck. Brock opened the door, and the snow was practically coming inside of the car. We couldn't go forward or reverse. We thought we should leave it, but it was pretty much sticking out into the road, and we knew it would be a bigger mess to get it out in the morning because there was a blizzard warning.
So Brock shoveled snow from around it, and stuck some pieces of shingles that we had in our garage behind the front tires. We managed to reverse a little, but it was still stuck, and it was in the middle of the street now.

Ha-ha! You got the storm we were supposed to get! We've already gotten about 12 inches this past week, adding that storm on top would have been murderous. It blows me away how many snow days the kids get for school here. I guess that's all part of living near the great lakes!
I head about all that snow and wondered about you two. Looks like fun!!! Also, I like your sewing room idea. It'll look great. How exciting that IKEA is opening soon. They do have so crazy stuff there. We usually buy nik nak, but we did buy a light fixture and coffee table that look great. I think that you have to be careful, though. Some of their stuff falls apart. Anyway, I bet you'll find something for your sewing room there. Have fun!! PS-I think you sould cut the flowers down in the bathroom.
That would suck. We just got our first snow in the last 10 years and it lasted about 10 minutes. God bless Texas.
