Brad Paisley

We went to a Brad Paisley concert last night! It was in The Woodlands which is about an hour and half away. First we (Brock, Patrick, Amber, and I) met Katie and Scott for dinner. We ate at the same Mexican restaurant (Chuy's) that we went to with them a couple weeks ago when we went to visit them. It was good. I could eat Mexican food every day of my life. This is off topic but when I was in high school we would always have lessons in church about marriage, and we sometimes made lists of qualities that we wanted our future spouse to have. My list always said that whomever I married had to like Mexican food. That's how much I like it. Now that I'm getting older, I don't like to eat it as much because my body is more responsive to calories, but I still get excited about it.

After we ate, Brock and I and the Farnsworths headed to the concert. I was feeling pretty sick yesterday with cold/sinus problems, so I was a little depressed about that, but the concert was still really good! Taylor Swift and Rodney Atkins were the opening acts. I like both of them a lot. Brad Paisley was way good! Even though we were all enjoying the concert, we left early. We must be getting old to leave early from a concert that we liked just because we wanted to beat the traffic. Brock said that we could listen to Brad Paisley when we got to the car and it would be just the same.

Taylor Swift. She was good, but you can definitely tell that she's only 17. She was kind of awkward.

I love this picture of Brock. As most of you know (and if you don't, just scroll down and look at other pictures), Brock doesn't like to look normal in his pictures. He actually looks normal in this one! I don't look that great because I was sick, but it's not too bad.
