Europe

In August 2004, we went on a trip to Europe with Brock's family. I thought I was supposed to impress them as their new daughter-in-law, but they've really done a lot to impress me since we've been married. This trip was one of those things. First we went to Italy. We visited Rome, Florence, Venice, and Pisa. This portion of the trip lasted about a week, and it was jam-packed with sightseeing. It was honestly exhausting, and at times I was wishing I was with my family because I knew we would take things a lot slower, but when it was all said and done, I was so glad that we were able to squeeze so much into our time there. Everything we saw was amazing. The second week was spent in London. This was much slower-paced, but still way cool. Brock had to leave a few days early for work. I was SO sad that he left me there. When I got home I told him never to leave me in a foreign country again. Of course, I had his family with me, but it was the first time I had been apart from him over night, and I was also scared for him to fly home alone (I have a big fear of flying which makes me worry a lot when others fly). Anyway, this post isn't about my unreasonable fears! So here are some pictures of our awesome trip! Thank you Joe and Carmen for this great experience!

How fun..I love London! There is so much to do there and for the most part you can understand what they are saying!

Fun! I think your mom told me that you went on this trip. I always thought it would be romantic to visit Rome. Now that I've married Tyler, our future trips include a very unromantic journey to Russia (his mission) and of course a return for me to Aruba. Tyler's dad is all over the world with his work. he just returned from London, Korea, and Australia. Someday...
